Marty
Webb (aka southernwebb) - Talk
Sports Mod
Marty Webb, 20 years old and a huge sport enthusiast, was
born in Houston, TX and raised in the Dallas, TX region. After a great
few years of High School football abruptly ended by injuries, Marty
did what any ex-player would do, stay involved. Writing for the high
school multimedia team and part-time for the McKinney Courier-Gazette,
he became a great contributor to sports coverage for both strangers
and friends.
Marty came across the sports simulation games in 2005, with the purchase
of Total Pro Football. Although the trip would be cut short due to
him pursuing to further his education, and to keep a full-time job.
He started and continues to run the longest lasting Fantasy Football
league in the town of McKinney, The Official McKinney League. He also
ran his own web-design business(World Wide Webb), after teaching himself
both html, java and graphic design. Though moving twice within the
last three years has perrished the business he still loves to do.
The dreams pile up for Marty, as he wants to do many things with
his life. Those include, becoming a high school football coach, being
a full-time sports reporter, and a rock-n-roll musician. With Total
Sports World, he can at least accomplish two of those dreams, and
strives to still be the best at whatever he puts his mind to do.

John
Comey (aka jcomey)
- General Mod
John Comey has been around the online sim community since 1998, and
the days of FPS BBPro. Jon Johnson, also known as DreamTeams on the
OOTP boards, brought John into his MLEB creation. Comey met the community
of his dreams...one that shared the same visions he did, where you
can write your own sports stories, histories, and destinies.
And so, he has.
Comey has written roughly 2,000 pages worth of material, spent across
several ventures, since that first league. He has run, or helped run,
several leagues since 1999, with games such as High Heat, OOTP, and
Total Pro Football. Lately, he has joined forces with "The General",
Mark Cooley, to branch out into radio. The spawn of their creation,
Gridiron Radio, has enticed literally tens...maybe even dozens...of
listeners to give a second show a try.
In addition to his efforts with leagues, Comey has also operated
behind the scenes. He has worked on beta teams with Out of the Park,
Gary Gorski's Total College Basketball and Total Pro Basketball, and
Total Pro Football. Comey penned the wondrous TPF technical guide,
which served no real purpose, but looked flashy all the same.
Professionally, Comey has worked for various personal non-profit
organizations (i.e he makes no money, but makes a difference) since
2002, upon graduating from Bloomsburg University with a BA in Mass
Communications. He thinks, maybe, one day, he will actually use the
degree for something he studied. He also writes poetry (was once invited
to a convention in Las Vegas with special guest stars Ruben Studdard
and "TV's Tony Orlando"), operates a popular blog on MySpace
(The Blog O' Incoherence), and fails to understand women.
(Oh, and Comey is also a Philadelphia fan, across the board. This
is the reason for all the sarcasm, self-deprecation, and frustration.
He's also sure it's the reason for failing to understanding women,
but he's just not sure how it all ties in just yet.)

Robby Ruggles
(aka robster1225)
- Gaming Mod
Robby Ruggles, 24 years old, is currently serving in the United
States Navy. Currently, he's stationed in New Jersey where he's
able to watch his beloved Yankees on the YES network. Other than his
beautiful wife of 4 years, Robby has two passions in life; sports
and video games.
Ever since his grandmother bought him that first Nintendo
Entertainment System, he's been hooked on console games. He owns both
an XBOX 360 and a Nintendo Wii. While he's addicted to the consoles,
his true addiction lies in Text Based Simulations. He is especially
active in the OOTP community, where he is a member of 4 online leagues
and was on the beta testing team for OOTP 2007. Other text sims he
plays are BBCF, FOF, DDS:PB, TPG, and TEW.
As we know, Robby's a Yankee fan when it comes to baseball, but he's
not just a baseball guy. As you could probably guess from his team
in Gridiron Glory, when it comes to college sports, he loves UNLV
(even though they suck). The San Francisco 49ers hold his
allegiance in the NFL and the Phoenix Suns in the NBA. The last
thing you should know about Robby is that he's an avid Apple fanboy,
and he'll let you know it.
(Robby also secretly plays World of Warcraft while hiding in a closet.)
